As many of you already know, th
e Coalition for Equitable Community Development (CECD) for the past ten years has worked "
support the maintenance of an economically and racially diverse community in Hyde Park-Kenwood".
CECD is pleased to announce that f
ulfilling an agreement reached in 2010 with our organization, MAC properties will make available 53 rental apartments to eligible applicants over the next year. The apartments, located at 5528-5532 South Cornell Avenue, include studios, one and two bedroom units and will be leased to individuals or families whose household income is less than 60% of the area median income as defined by the City of Chicago. CECD and MAC Properties will host two public meetings to provide more specific information for all interested individuals on
