Work on the Sabbath will feature musical artist Gira Dahnee. Dahnee believes that music is a passageway to the metaphysical realm. Her EP Future Geechee (2015) merges the genres of jazz, rock, and electro-experimental. Her sultry alto voice take listeners across lifetimes, reaching the purity of soul. She has opened for Marc De Clive-Lowe, David Boykin, and Chicago's Sol Street Fest, been an AMFM featured artist, and is a regular performer at Vol 39 at Chicago’s Kimpton Gray Hotel. Gira has also performed at the Association of Performing Arts Presenters Conference in New York City. Her motto is "follow your heart; it will take you where it you need to be."
