The next meeting of Jackson Park Advisory Council is on Monday, December 11, 7 p.m. in Jackson Park fieldhouse, 6401 S. Stony Island Ave. As per council resolution at the October meeting, announced in the November Newsletter, the annual meeting with ELECTION OF OFFICERS will be held December 11. At the November meeting, motion was made and the PAC approved a slate of the current officers. However, in accord with the bylaws, nominations must be made from the floor at the meeting (Dec. 11). Nominations must be made by members in good standing and the nominees must be members in good standing-- having attended at least two meetings during the prior twelve months. This is also the principal requirement for voting. JPAC has started a new monthly series of educational / informational talks with refreshments ahead of the winter meetings, at 6 p.m. in the glass room just south of the fieldhouse entrance.
