Black Cinema House presents INTORE, a rare look at how Rwanda survived a tragic past through music, dance and the resilience of a new generation. Rwandan filmmaker Eric Kabera’s triumphant story features the country’s top musicians and dancers, poignant interviews with genocide survivors and perpetrators, and emerging artists who bring fresh genius to a struggling land. Followed by conversation with Jacqueline Stewart (BCH curator, UChicago Cinema & Media Studies). Presented as part of the Afro-Pop Series, co-sponsored by Community Film Workshop of Chicago and Reel Black Filmmakers.
