Discussing Books About Hyde Park: In collaboration with the Hyde Park Historical Society, this group gathers to discuss books centered around themes especially relevant to Hyde Park and Hyde Parkers. Readers are encouraged to read anything they can find about the topic, and come together to consider various perspectives.
The group meets at 7:30 on the third Monday each month in the Community Room of Treasure Island (downstairs.
Everyone is welcome (even if you aren't prepared!)

Our next book club meeting will be on Monday, September 18, 7:30pm in the lower level meeting room at Treasure Island.  The meeting will be on the history of Jackson Park and the South Park System.

Our October 16 meeting will be the works of Saul Bellow.  Augie March would be a good place to start. HerzogRavelstein and Dean’s December have Chicago and/or Hyde Park references, but as always, feel free to explore.

The Hyde Park Book Club meets on the third Monday of the month at 7:30pm in the lower level meeting room at Treasure Island.  All are welcome
