Rare Earth invites the viewer to experience chance arrangements and discover new correlations between built environments from around the world. Mined from Rebuild Foundation’s archives, architectural and design images, film, and live performances combine into a score that offers a poetic imagining of the speculative city. Joshua Abrams/Tomeka Reid/Dave Rempis
Thursday, October 12 • 6:30–7:30pm

Joshua Abrams, Tomeka Reid and Dave Rempis have been vital players in Chicago's creative music landscape for the past 20 years. In recent years Abrams has released 4 records on eremite records under the rubric of Natural Information Society, Reid has issued The Tomeka Reid Quartet on Thirsty Ear and co-leads the collective trio Hear In Now, and Rempis continues to work & record with the Rempis Percussion Quartet and has released many albums on his label, Aerophonic Records. This will be the trio's third performance.
