As many of you already know, the Coalition for Equitable Community Development (CECD) for the past ten years has worked "support the maintenance of an economically and racially diverse community in Hyde Park-Kenwood". 
CECD is pleased to announce that fulfilling an agreement reached in 2010 with our organization,  MAC properties will make available 53 rental apartments to eligible applicants over the next year.  The apartments, located at 5528-5532 South Cornell Avenue, include studios, one and two bedroom units and will be leased to individuals or families whose household income is less than 60% of the area median income as defined by the City of Chicago.  CECD and MAC Properties will host two public meetings to provide more specific information for all interested individuals on
