The annual Toro Nagashi lantern ceremony in Jackson Park's Garden of the Phoenix is a meaningful occasion to process the loss of loved ones and to strengthen our bonds as a community. Hosted by the Japanese Arts Foundation in partnership with the Japanese Culture Center, Chicago Park District, and Asian Improv Arts Midwest.

Sages & Seekers is an intergenerational program that builds meaningful relationships between Sages (adults 60+) and Seekers (students 15-24) in order to diminish ageism, combat social isolation, and develop empathy. Sessions meet weekly on Zoom for 8 weeks starting in late September.

Seeking Research Study Participants: Persons with Parkinson's Disease & Providers who Treat Persons with Parkinson's Disease — Implementation of Exercise and Physical Therapy
This research is interested in gaining insight into the barriers and facilitators to exercise, and physical therapy participation in your community. Interviews will occur 1 time for 30 minutes over Zoom. Participants will receive $25 on a Clincard for their participation.
