Chicago Area Village Collaborative Program
The Future of Medicare: Understanding the Long-term Impact of Policy and Financing for Medicare and Medicare Advantage

Join us on Zoom to learn more about Medicare and Medicare Advantage financing and policy with a focus on how privatization threatens the viability of Medicare. Dr. Monica Maalouf will discuss how current financing and policy practices will impact Medicare for seniors now and in the future. This program is co-sponsored by the Chicago Area Village Collaborative.
 
 
Dr. Monica Maalouf
Dr. Monica Maalouf is a physician, associate professor of medicine, and associate program director for the internal medicine residency program at Loyola University Medical Center. A graduate of University of Chicago and of the University of Minnesota Medical School, Dr. Maalouf practices primary care with a specific focus on marginalized communities and women’s health. She teaches medical students and residents about health inequities, social determinants of health, and health advocacy.

By walking with HAARC adn the UChicago community, you’ll help spread the message that Alzheimer's is a challenge we can tackle together as a community. Friends and family are also welcome to join!
