HELP US MAKE A CHANGE!

Dear Friends,

For more than a decade, Chicago Hyde Park Village has been rewriting the story of aging. With your support, we’re proving that growing older can mean growing closer. Membership fees cover only about 20% of CHPV’s annual revenue. The rest depends on the generosity of people like you. Thanks to your support, CHPV continues to nurture a caring and connected community where older adults can live independently, stay engaged, and thrive at home in the neighborhoods they love.

In the past year alone, CHPV members participated in nearly 500 events focused on learning, wellness, social connection, and mutual support. Your contributions made this possible—helping 108 volunteers provide more than 4,300 hours of service, a 41% increase from the year before. Together, we’ve strengthened our network of neighbors helping neighbors through:
  • 267 rides to medical appointments and events (a 28% increase)
  • 776 visits to 30 socially isolated older adults
  • 12 monthly Memory Café events providing 97 person-hours of engagement for those living with dementia and their caregivers
  • 46 volunteers serving Thanksgiving meals to more than 70 older adults, both delivered and shared in community
Please help CHPV continue these valuable services and community connections by donating today. With your support, you’re making a difference in the lives of our neighbors.
