WE'RE ALMOST THERE!

For more than a decade, Chicago Hyde Park Village has been rewriting the story of aging. More and more older South Siders rely on the services, support, and socialization of Chicago Hyde Park Village to age healthfully in community. Nearly half of CHPV’s revenue depends on individual gifts like yours. With your help, CHPV can grow its ability to support the needs of our aging population.

We are 95% of the way to reaching our annual individual charitable giving goal. Please help us reach our goal and finish the year strong!

With your support, you’re making a difference in the lives of our neighbors.

IN THE COMMUNITY
SHARE Network logo

December 16, 2025
12pm and 6pm

The holidays are a time when we may start to notice concerning changes in an Older Adult. The SHARE Network, in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, is hosting a supportive and informative virtual session designed to help families navigate those moments with confidence. This session will support you and your loved one by educating on the warning signs of dementia, gaining resources for evaluation and resources for safety in the community.

Topics include:
• The 10 warning signs of dementia
• Guidance on accessing evaluation and support resources
• Tips to help ensure safety and engagement in the community

The University of Chicago's SHARE Network is a major institutional partner of Chicago Hyde Park Village. We are pleased to promote the community enrichment opportunities provided by the SHARE Network.
