New VOLUNTEERS

Thank you so much for your interest in being a volunteer with Chicago Hyde Park Village! As an organization built on the philosophy of neighbors helping neighbors, CHPV is very grateful for the gift of your time, knowledge, kindness, and service. 

1. The volunteer application for people who are not CHPV members can be accessed here. Choose "Volunteer-Only" and then follow the prompts.

2. Please note you will need to upload these documents:

• copy of a government-issued ID (a driver's license is required for volunteers joining the CHPV driving pool)
• copy of car insurance (only for volunteers joining the CHPV volunteer pool)
• background check authorization form (form can be downloaded at this link)

3. Since we work with an older population that is vulnerable, we ask volunteers to be up to date on their vaccinations. Please provide details about your flu and Covid vaccination status on this form.
