Please join us for a very special book club meeting on Monday, June 21, 2021, 7:30 via Zoom. We will be joined by Emmy award winning author and journalist Maria Hinojosa, for a discussion of her book Once I Was You: A Memoir of Love and Hate in a Torn America. Maria grew up in Hyde Park and attended Lab School - her book covers those formative years. She later went on to win the Peabody Award for her work as anchor and executive-producer of Latino USA on NPR.<br /><br />The Hyde Park Book Club is jointly sponsored by the Hyde Park Historical Society and Chicago Hyde Park Village.
